I forgot to post this picture on Christmas Eve. I’m not sure what the odds are, but each Christmas Eve a plane will fly over our house at exactly the time the kids are getting ready for bed. This will make the 5th year in a row it has happened. We always go outside around 9:00 to look for Rudolophs’ nose and every year we see it. It looks like a tiny, flashing, red light. The kids scream, run around and scream some more. This is not the preferred activity if you’re trying to settle them down before bed, but it’s fun to watch.

Do you remember your first concert? Last Friday night my friend Ryan and I took Lauren and her friend Nichole to the Casting Crowns Christmas concert. It was the girls first real concert and they were so excited. I remember my first concert, I wish I could say it was someone cool. I hate to admit it was country and Wester star Ronnie Millsap. If you don’t know who he is google him, you may find a result or two. I have been to my share of good concerts; Metallica, Lenny Kravitz, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Bush and No Doubt. However, the best concert I’ve ever been to was Randy Travis. Why was it so good? It was my wife and I’s first date, almost 10 years ago.
